Introduction

Welcome to The Portrait Factory! By booking a session with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms are designed to ensure a clear understanding of the services we provide and the responsibilities of both parties.

Booking and Payment

Booking

  1. A booking fee of $100 is required to secure your session date and time.
  2. The remaining balance is due on the day of the session, before the shoot begins.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

  1. If you need to cancel or reschedule your session, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance.
  2. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the session will result in forfeiture of the booking fee.
  3. Rescheduling is subject to availability .

Session Policies

Arrivals

  1. Please arrive on time for your session. Late arrivals may result in reduced session time or rescheduling fees.
  2. If you are more than [Number] minutes late without prior notice, the session may be canceled, and the booking fee forfeited.

Conduct

  1. We reserve the right to terminate the session if there is any form of abuse or inappropriate behavior.

Image Delivery

Editing and Retouching

  1. Basic retouching and color correction are included in your session fee.
  2. Additional retouching requests may incur extra charges.

Delivery

  1. Digital Images will be delivered within 2 weeks of your image selections being completed.
  2. Print orders are subject to delivery by our suppliers, however every effort will be made to ensure your photos are ready for collection as soon as possible, and you will be notified as soon as they are ready for collection.

Prints and Products

  1. Any additional prints or products can be ordered separately and are not included in the session fee.
  2. Pricing for prints and products is available upon request.

Usage Rights

Client Usage

  1. You are granted a non-exclusive license to use the images for personal use only.
  2. Images may not be used for commercial purposes without written consent and appropriate licensing fees.

Photographer Usage

  1. We reserve the right to use the images for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media, website portfolios, and marketing materials.
  2. If you prefer your images not to be used in this manner, please notify us in writing before your session.

Liability

  1. We are not responsible for any injuries or accidents that occur during the session.
  2. We are not liable for any loss or damage to personal items during the session.

Privacy Policy

  1. Your personal information will be kept confidential and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.
